Ambiente, Frankfurt: a major trade fair celebrating artful home decoration
The event will take place in Germany Feb 12-16
The Ambiente international trade fair takes place annually in Frankfurt and is considered to be a major event for professionals working in the following sectors: artful tableware, interior design and consumer goods.
The trade fair is divided into three themes:
- Dining: artful tableware, household appliances and gastronomy
- Giving: a space dedicated to objects and gifts
- Living: interior planning, decoration and different styles of home living
Each year, Ambiente gives approximately 140,000 visitors from roughly one hundred countries an overview of their specialized work sector’s current market as well as a sneak peak of new and unique product collections.
In 2015 approximately 4,800 exhibitors presented their products to an attentive public in search of innovative items and excitement.
Ambiente’s program is peppered with special presentations, award ceremonies and many other events geared toward stimulating participant creativity. TB Groupe has been awarded twice at Ambiente.
The Evercut® technology, a symbol of excellence and innovation within the “Made in France” cutlery collection, developed by specialists at Tarrerias-Bonjean won the following awards:
- The Kitchen Innovation of the Year Prize in 2010
- The European Customer Trophy in 2011
Ambiente 2016: in partnership with Italy
The Ambiente trade fair’s organizers decided to add a taste of Italy to this year’s event. Last year’s event was American themed. Italy is honored to be in the spotlight, with large showcases of regional products presented by the country’s most famous artists. A wide variety of organized events will joyously punctuate the event’s program.
An air of dolce vita will linger in the state of Hesse throughout the event’s duration. This event will be a great way for visitors to discover the latest trends in transalpine decoration and aesthetic taste.
The cherry on the cake: key figures will be present to promote this major collaboration. The famous designer Paola Navone will be present. She will be presenting techniques that inform some of the different types of typical Italian design: creative passion, functionality and attention to detail.

This year, visitors from Germany, Italy, France, Holland, the United States, England, Switzerland, Spain, China, Turkey and Russia will have the opportunity to discover new products and trends showcased at Ambiente.
The venue spanning 330,000 m² (approx. 3,552,090 ft²) is dedicated solely to this event whose scope and international renown is unwavering.
